Pastor Anthony Francis serves as the Lead Pastor of Gateway Assembly of God, alongside his wife Sheeba, and together they are blessed with two sons, Wisdom and Jeremiah. Born and raised in Pakistan, Pastor Anthony ministered in Kenya for 10 years at International Christian Centre, Nairobi, where the church grew to more than 3,500 weekly attendees. Following God’s call, he and his family moved to Dubai and planted Desert Community Church International. Over 14 years, they faithfully pastored both an International Church made up of people from 15 different nationalities and a Nepali Church where 95% of the members came from Hindu backgrounds. Pastor Anthony has also served as an Associate Pastor at Peoples Church in Cincinnati, Ohio for three years.

God has entrusted Pastor Anthony with a bold 2030 Vision: to plant seven churches across the seven Emirates of the UAE, to establish churches and elementary schools in Pakistan and Nepal, to launch a prayer movement throughout the Middle East, and to build a Leadership School to equip and release future leaders. His heart beats for church planting, discipleship, and seeing nations transformed by the love of Jesus.
